Our Diversity-In-Marketing Interns have been selected for 2023. Applications for 2024 will open in February.
Pay: $17.50 / hour plus a $750 / month housing stipend
Now in its third year, the Diversity-in-Marketing Internship program is part of our indigenous-owned agency’s commitment to attract, develop and retain diverse, high-potential, early-career marcom talent.
- Grasslands summer interns (looking to fill two internship positions) will engage in a 12-week paid summer internship program from June to August (specific dates are flexible). The interns will work inside Grasslands’ award-winning cannabis marketing practice.
- They will gain hands-on work experience, professional development workshops, mentorship, networking opportunities and more.
- The bulk of our interns’ time will be spent across the agency’s PR and Marketing departments, and the remaining 10% of the time will be spent with the other departments (HR and Operations) for an immersive agency experience.
- Each intern will have a specific project that will be presented to Grasslands’ Management Team upon the completion of the program. The interns will also be assigned a mentor who will provide ongoing support, advice, share ideas / knowledge, facilitate weekly check-ins and ultimately help the intern tie their Grasslands learning experience to his / her / their career goals.
- After completion of the program, Grasslands’ interns will have opportunities to further engage with Grasslands to jumpstart their careers.
The role requires being in person at Grasslands HQ in Denver, Colo. In addition to the hourly wage of $17.50 / hour (for approximately 40 hours of work per week), Grasslands also offers a $750 / month housing stipend to help offset additional costs. Once onboarded, there is flexibility for a hybrid schedule.
