This week on The Weedsmith, we welcome our 4th guest, Amber Senter. As chief executive officer at MAKR House & chairman of the board and executive director of Supernova Women, Amber gives her thoughts about self-awareness and how it is key to shaping great leaders.

Amber, in your opinion, what makes a good leader?
Amber Senter:
So many things make a good cannabis thought leader. Self awareness is really a big part of it and I think that opens the door to a number of things. Being self-aware, you can self-reflect. You can realize what you’re good and what you’re not good at.
It’s also being humble. You can allow people to help you when you understand what your faults are.
Self-awareness is a big part of it. Selflessness is big. Being willing to help others and not get anything in return. I think that’s a big part of leadership. If you’re not helpful in helping others, how do we get to that greater good, how do we achieve some of those things?
